Only seeing this now… knew you 20 years ago and you helped me fall in love with Metallica. Wish I could tell you how much you meant to me then.

Mate I'll miss you. We didn't spend much time together as adults but the time we spent growing up together has given me so many good memories. I have so many of them and pretty much all of them you are laughing. You were quick to take the blame even if it wasn't you and even quicker with a smile. As an adult I would hear you before I saw you but you always had a bone crushing hug regardless of whether I wanted one or not, I did really appreciate them and it's shit knowing I won't get another.

Putting it off and putting it off but it’s now or never!!
Well frick sakes where to start!!!
Through families joining we were brought together and you soon became our cousin ! Us 5 You, Neil, Scott , Dale and me became a constant part of each other’s lives. So many happy and fun memories spent at the park road pads drifting from one to the other as they were both considered home at that time. So much mischief made and trouble caused .. laughs, tears, injuries we have it all to look back on. Some incredible family Christmas’ , brilliant joint birthday parties were shared and cherished.
Then the other stuff broken limbs and the ‘sensible’ older one being entrusted with your wheel chair, busted by your uncle Stu by letting you go down park road. Flooded, kitchens, raided cupboards, bonfire nights and some of the best Halloween outings we could have asked for.
Going into adult hood that bond wasn’t as strong but we’d always have each other’s backs and then later on we were never short of words to say.
All I can say now is that those words and times simply weren’t enough!
Not the place to get maudlin though Ant so I’ll leave at this :
⚡️Ride The Lightening big man and catch you somewhere some time 🤘🏻⚡️

I still cannot get my head around the fact he's gone. Ant was the kindest, funny, most caring guy, always had a cheeky smile on his face and would always help if he could. Taken way too early. He had so much more to give. I will miss that cheeky chappie. Rest easy up there mate. Xx

Ant, I can still remember the time Shannon introduced you, how whenever u rocked up, you always have 5fdp playing, u got me into them, u got my 2 boys into them, and I went to see them in concert because of u!!

I can remember sitting in my kitchen laughing and joking, the way u always used to be there to talk to, the conversations we had, and how your girls were important to u,
I no we lost touch, but I never got to thank u for being a friend.
You will be missed.
Rest easy my friend.

I grew up with both Anthony and Neil... Attending school with them both at primary, secondary and college... And I then went on to work with Anthony for a few years... Such a great guy... And a friend... I was devestated to hear such sad news.
Condolences to all the family... Keep playing your Metallica albums up there mate.
I'll see you again for another snake bite and black... X
