Vera Burgess

27th Oct 1934 — 11th Jul 2023

Vera passed away peacefully surrounded by love, on Tuesday 11th July 2023, aged 88 years.

A cherished mum and nan. Always loved, always remembered.

Funeral service to be held on Thursday 10th August 2023, at the South Leicestershire Crematorium, Countesthorpe at 11am.

Vera's favourite colours were red and purple, so if you feel comfortable, please wear bright and colourful clothing to remember her.

Donations in lieu of flowers are being gratefully accepted for 'Raising Health'.

Raising Health is a charity that supports the local community hospitals and projects. The district nurses that cared for Vera were amazing with the care they provided and Vera's family wished to give something back to say thank you.
