After being such a special friend for over 37 years saying goodbye as you now rest in eternal peace with Roy is filled with sadness. I am truly thankful to have met you through work all those years ago and though that was brief our friendship since was filled with laughter and long chats about anything and everything. In the last year or so Geeta, Rohan and I visited you a few times whilst you were in hospitals and your smiles, laughter especially with Rohan are now wonderful memories we will all treasure. My last 2 visits to see you in Harvey House when you gleefully told some of the residents that I was your adopted son made me feel truly humbled, honoured and blessed that our friendship meant that much to you as well. Spending some time with you for the last time on 22/11/24, your 88th Birthday now becomes that much more special. Seeing you so happy especially as the Home had made a lovely Poster for you was just so heartwarming and unknown to us also our last goodbyes. Rest in Eternal Peace dear Valerie, you will always be in our prayers and memories. Vijay, Geeta & Rohan.
