Terry Bettoney

of Burbage, passed away peacefully on 13th July 2023 aged 88 years. Beloved husband to the late Molly. Much loved dad to Karl and Stella, father in law to Russell and Julie and a wonderful grandad and great grandad. Terry will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Funeral service to take place at Countesthorpe Crematorium on Friday 11th August at 12 noon. No flowers by request. Donations may be sent payable to 'Alzheimer's Society' c/o G.Seller 'Independent Funeral Directors' 75 Upper Bond Street, Hinckley, LE10 1RH. Tel: 01455 637457.

Dear Terry, Remember that lamp post we both climbed at Matlock; New Year dances at the Isaac Walton, ( and Mrs Thather's bedroom ) with giant balloons; sledging at Bradgate Park; the Brighton weekend when we forgot the date and nearly didn't arrive at all; dancing at the Tower Ballroom, and cockles on the Promenade, Blackpool; and those lovely few days in France, at Cergy Pontoise - the name that always made Molly giggle! So many special memories with a special family - rest well dear friend.

To the lovely Terry, we had some laughs together and cryed together, I am going to miss your Witt, humer and your story’s you used to tell me about your holidays, rip Terry you lovely bloke now with your beautiful wife molly, hope you have loads more story’s and keep dancing xx
