Steve, what a lovely fella to have as a neighbour. We miss seeing you polishing your car out in the back garden, and miss seeing you walking Cheyenne, you loved that Husky so much! Steak for her, Pizza for you! So sorry you had to leave so soon, much love to Kurt and your family. Rest peacefully Steve.
Love Julie, Pete, Joe & Lauren.

Such a friendly face around the office, nothing was too much trouble, no matter how busy you were you would always make time for a chat when we bumped into each other in the Pausa queue.
It seemed like only yesterday we waved you off for retirement, gone too soon but never forgotten.

Dad, you were my world, my teacher, and one of my best friends. I’m so grateful for every day we had together. Thank you for your strength, your kindness, and for letting me care for you when you needed me most.
I miss your voice, your humour, and your heart more than words can say. I love you always, and I hope you’re finally at peace.

It was a privilege to get to know you Steve and have you as my Brother in law. A true gentleman man who was kind, thoughtful and funny.
Lots of happy, cherished memories with all the kids growing up together and sharing family occasions, you will be greatly missed ❤️

I remember hanging out at the Stavrou house back in the day, Steve was always so friendly and glad to have us young lads around. He was a cool dad, with the cool cars we all loved!
My thoughts are with Chris, Kurt, and the Stavrou family during this difficult time. May Steve's memory live on in the many lives he touched.

Loving and caring are just some of the words to describe you Steve, but funny would be the most suitable. I have so many great memories of the laughs we’ve had together. What a guy!
Oh and you are by far the best at CAD…
Rest easy mate.
Andy

This message was posted on the BMW Car Club GB Central region FB page - it will also be in the December 2025 issue of the clubs Straight Six magazine: -
Very sad news has just come in that Central region member Steve Stavrou passed away yesterday after a short battle with cancer.
Steve, was known mainly in the club for his I8 - although his did also own an E90 3 series - was a very active member of the Central region and also the clubs i series (electric vehicle) register.
Steve, was a much valued member of Central Region - I personally enjoyed his company he was a gentleman and friend to all of us in the region and will be greatly missed by all in Central. RIP
