Rest easy uncle Stan, sorry our paths didn’t cross as often as we’d have liked.
Much love

So sorry to hear that Stan has passed away. We have been out of touch for many years but I still think of our long friendship as children. X

Grandad!
I think I speak for all my siblings here when I say my grandad wasn’t just a grandad to us he also stepped up as a father figure and an amazing one of that too! We have so many fond memories with my grandad but my favourite days are the ones we spent at the caravan in Mablethorpe. My grandad not only brought me my first bike but also taught me how to ride a bike, although that might of back fired when I crashed into our neighbours plant pot, let’s just say the neighbour wasn’t too happy. He always took myself and my siblings to get ice cream from our favourite ice cream man, it’s the little things that really counted but I was happy not just for convincing my grandad to get me ice cream all the time but just to spend time with him!
Grandad I love you with all my heart and I miss you so much! You’re at peace now and I hope you’re watching and guiding us.

Lots of love Grandad
Zopo xx

Our grandad kept a garden,
A garden of the heart;
He planted all the good things,
That gave our lives their start.
He turned us to the sunshine,
And encouraged us to dream:
Fostering and nurturing the seeds of self-esteem.
And then the wind and rain came,
He protected enough;
But not too much because he knew we would stand up strong and tough.
His constant good example,
Always taught us right from wrong;
Markers for our pathway that will last a lifetime long.
We are our grandads garden,
We are his legacy.

Love you grandad ❤️

I am so heartbroken for Carolyn, Janine and all the grandchildren - such a loss. I have such treasured memories of Stan from quite a young age- my best friends dad through School years🩷, stealing all his chocolate digestives after finishing our exams and having to run all the way to the coop to buy another packet before he noticed only for me and Janine to eat them too! A truly fantastic holiday with them to Saundersfoot in a VW beetle, I had such a great time even though we got into trouble for staying out to late-Stan giving us a wink and a smile whilst Carolyn told us off, I always had a great time at Janines house. A lovely man who always stopped to chat. My deepest condolences.xxx Becks

Four wheels move the body but two wheels move the soul.
May the road stretch far and wide.
