Sadly passed away on the 11th October 2024, aged 70 years.

Beloved partner of 48 years to Ashley, much loved Mum to Sam, Edmund, Heather, Toby and Emma, loving Granny and Great Granny to many.

Funeral service to be held on Tuesday 12th November 2024 at St. Michael’s Church, Stoney Stanton at 11am, followed by a private family committal.

Family flowers only please. No formal dress code, bright colours welcome. A charitable donation box will be available on the day for anyone who would like to support a cause on behalf of Sheila.

I was so sad to hear of Sheila's passing. I have many happy memories of our time together at Heathfield High School and I was even more delighted to meet up again after 50 years at our Year Group reunions with fellow Heathfielders. We certainly had some really good laughs remembering our time together and I just feel so lucky to have reconnected with her again. Sheila was a truly lovely lady and I will miss seeing her greatly. My sincere condolences to Sheila's family.

I was so sad to hear that Sheila had passed away. I've known Sheila since our first day at Heathfield High School in 1965. I was so pleased to meet up with her a few times in the last couple of years. Sheila is the only person I know whose birthday was on 1st April. Over the years I've always remember that date as her 'special day' and will continue to do so. RIP Sheila. xx
