Messages Of Condolence

In loving memory of Shayne

To those of us who had the honour of serving with him in 33 Royal Engineers in Northern Ireland, Shayne will always be known as Butts — a loyal friend, a good man, and someone we were proud to serve alongside. He was held in great respect and affection, and it speaks volumes of the man he was that so many of his Army friends will be there to honour his life.

Our thoughts are with Julie and all the family at this very difficult time.

My deepest condolences to you Julie & all the family. RIP Shayne. Gone far too soon but never forgotten. So sorry I can’t be with you on the 20th, but I’ll be with you in spirit. Lots of love. Pete. xx

It was a great shock and with sincere sadness that we learnt of the passing of Shayne. A character and friend to so many including ourselves and so cruel to loose him at such a relatively young age. Although we are out of the country on the day of the funeral our thoughts and prayers will be with all his family and friends

No words can express our sadness. We are so sorry we cannot be with Julie, the family and friends to say our goodbyes to Shayne . He was such a kind and popular man and respected by us all. He will be missed but never forgotten. Our love and thoughts are with you all. Ralph & Maureen
