Dear Pete
Will be thinking of you and your family tomorrow, as I have been lately.
A special Dad to Denny and Alex. A treasured husband to Sue and loved by so many more family and friends
Rest in Peace now Pete 💙🩵💙

My darling Peter.
From a newborn baby to a mischievous loveable little boy who became a dignified and wonderful man, never losing that cheeky smile and love for family.
Thank you for my memories. Forever they will be held dear. Rest now my darling boy.

What can I say about my brother Peter, he was one of a kind. Everyone that knew him knows he had a strong and steady character, it still amazes me how he was always happy, pleasant and smiling, from the time we were small and up through all the years that he fought his illnesses he never complained and he never gave up. Pete was a constant in my life, it was a comfort knowing I could pick up the phone and talk to him, which I often did. He was my partner in crime when we were kids, from nursery school on we often got it trouble, climbing out of a bathroom window and onto the roof at nursery school because we didn't want to see the nurse, we stayed there till they left LOL. So many stories I could tell, but that also means I have a lot of memories of my brother of which I'm thankful. My last words to Peter were "I love you Pete" and he said "I love you to Jane" A good memory to have till we meet again.

Pete was a great guy who was so much more than just a brother. He was an intelligent and generous person who never complained or criticised, you craved his blessing and listened if he advised. I adored that man.

How lucky am I to have known you for 73yrs. During that time I cannot remember you once complaining at what life has thrown at you, most of which would have destroyed many. Your strength, compassion and ability to see the best in everyone amazed me. I’ll miss you brother with all my heart. I won’t be far behind you mate so if you can find me another nice job up there I’ll appreciate it ❤️Till we meet again keep smiling and thanks again for those happy times and precious memories. Dave

Uncle Pete, you have been one of the strongest people, battling your illnesses for a long time, while still taking care of your loved ones. You have truly been an inspiration. Your dry sense of humor and mischievous smile shall be missed greatly. I hope that you're having a cuppa with Nana, Granddad, Aunt Ruth & my dad. With love from Across the Pond, Uncle Pete.
Always,
Andrea

Be at peace my darling. Resting with all the beautiful souls we have known to fly before you. I hope you are being hugged by your mum and fixing cars with old friends. I was and will remain forever a daddy’s girl, truly in awe of you. Thank you for always picking me up from the stables as a child, walking down there with me in that snow storm of 1990!, introducing me to gym addiction and quietly cheering me on in all my crazy ventures in recent years. You being proud of me has and always will be my motivation and it shall continue, for I know you are still there smiling at me kindly with those gentle eyes xx 😘 Denny
