Messages Of Condolence

Pat was the most lovely man you could ever wish to meet and it was a privilege to have known him. He was patient, tolerant, fun to be with, and always willing to help others. He taught us all at Sapcote how to play croquet but never how to beat him! A true competitor to the end.  Pat you have left a big hole in our hearts and the Club.

RIP from Ann & Stewart Newman and Sapcote Croquet Club

Pat was a work colleague and friend of my late husband David.

I have many fond memories of shared walking holidays - North Wales, Brecon Beacons, Somerset, Devon, Warwickshire - as well as jolly social occasions.

Such a kind, tolerant and reasonable soul.

We loved you Pat

Croquet brought us together and ensured that the federation prospered with more clubs needing the input we could offer for administration, coaching and refereeing.

Here's to Pat. Enjoyed our conversations which were always frank, friendly & funny - perfect skills for a referee I'd say..
