Patrick Durnin

of Market Bosworth passed away peacefully after a short illness with his family by his side on 11th April 2022 aged 80 years. Much loved husband of Jennifer, a loving dad to Katherine, Sarah and the late Kevin and Brendan and a special grandad to Hetty, Summer, Scarlet and Penny. Funeral service to take place at St Gregory's Catholic Church, Market Bosworth on Friday 6th May at 12:30pm followed by interment in St Peter's Churchyard. Family flowers only please. Donations may be sent payable to 'Donations Fund' in which all monies will be divided between the Royal British Legion Market Bosworth Branch and the Williams Syndrome Foundation c/o G.Seller 'Independent Funeral Directors' 75 Upper Bond Street, Hinckley, LE10 1RH. It was a joy to know Pat, he was passionate about the RBL and would ensure that the local Scout group would get the wreath each year. On Remembrance Parade he was always very kind to our flag bearer ensuring they knew what to do and when. In 2020 during lockdown he joined our online Cubs meeting to tell the young people about RBL. RIP
