Messages Of Condolence

Fond memories of Auntie Muriel, a lovely lady. Always enjoyed visits from Muriel and Joan, and visits to see Muriel and her lovely Farmer family.

Lyn, Ian and family
Lyn Wightman
My fondest and earliest memories are of going to Groobie Pool to feed the ducks and Bradgate Park to see the deer with my brother and sisters with Auntie Joan and Auntie Muriel. I remember well spending holidays with you at Blackpool, Tourkey, Bournemouth and Skeggsnest. I have amazing memories of going to Scotland with Auntie Muriel and Auntie Joan. I remember Broughty Ferry, Dundee and Pittenween. I remember the fishing boats, the Lochness monster on the rock, the tall beech hedgerow and standing in the heather in the Scottish Highlands. I remember spending all my weekends and most of the weekdays at your house, going to swimming lessons and girl guides. I remember the dresses you made for me and my sisters, the Christmas presents you gave us and having Christmas at your house. I remember saying goodbye when we left for Australia as if it were yesterday. I remember ringing you up from Australia and you were always so happy and surprised to her my voice. I always felt happy to hear your voice too. Mostly I remember your kindness and your smile and how wonderful you both were to me and my siblings. I am the person I am today because of the
Wonderful life you gave me as a child along with my parents of course. I always remember my amazing aunties strong and independent. I had planned to come and see you for your 100th birthday but it was not meant to be, so I will remember you being with Auntie Joan as I’m sure you now are. I love you both with all my heart πŸ’–πŸ’–
