Mary Morris

22nd Nov 1925 — 8th Apr 2024

of Hinckley, passed away peacefully on 8th April 2024 aged 98 years. Beloved wife to the late Tom. Loving mum to Sandra, mother in law to Lionel and step mum to Verona. A much loved grandma to Rachel, Stephen, Alison and Helen and great grandma to Abel, Bowie, Riley-Mac, Charlie and Connor. Funeral service to take place at Albert Road Methodist Church, Hinckley on Thursday 9th May at 10:45am followed by committal at Heart of England Crematorium, Nuneaton.

Mary will be greatly missed at our afternoon teas. She was always cheerful and livened up the room. She was often the top prize-winner in the games. Rest in peace Mary.

Mary was a very long standing guest at our monthly tea parties and will be sadly missed by guests and volunteers alike. We will miss you Mary but may you Rest in Peace.

Reengage Charity Tea Parties

Mary was a lady in a million and became a true friend for us both in her later years. It is a privilege to have known her and we will miss her greatly for her tenacity, determination and especially for sharing the stories of her long life in the local area.
May she is now rest in peace with her Lord.
