Keith Hubbard

18th Mar 1940 — 25th Sept 2019

Of Barlestone, passed away peacefully in hospital on 25th September 2019 aged 79 years. Beloved Husband to Pat, much loved Dad to Samantha and Ian and devoted Grandad to Lauren and Dan. Funeral Service to take place at the Heart of England Crematorium, Nuneaton on Thursday 10th October 2019 at 10.15am. No flowers by request please, donations may be made in memory of Keith payable to "Cancer Research UK" c/o G. Seller.

I will always remember Keith as a gifted and excellent hosiery technician. His gentle and diligent nature were invaluable for the advent of computer programming on circular knitting machines. He was able to master this new technology.
He worked for my father's company Apex (Textiles) Ltd in the 1970s and early 1980s, helping to build the respected technical prowess of the company. He then went on to work with some of the best hosiery and seamless garment manufacturers, taking the advancements in new technology in his stride.
Unfortunately I am unable to be at the Funeral Service as I will be in Italy on Thursday, coincidentally in Lonati the company Keith new well, and still making the latest hosiery machines to this day. For sure I will raise a glass in Keith's name whilst there, and remember the smile and gentle nature of a brilliant knitting machine technician, and a true 'gentle'-man.
