Judith ‘Judy’ Fern Palmer (Lawley)

4th Mar 1943 — 2nd Dec 2025

Judith ‘Judy’ Fern Palmer (Lawley) of Burbage.

Passed away peacefully after a long and brave battle with cancer, on Tuesday 2nd December 2025 aged 82 years.

Survived by her husband Peter. A loving, caring and devoted mother to Kirstie and mother in law to Russ. A special beloved Nanna to Katie and Millie. Cherished by Peter’s family - Alison, Gary, Paul and Karen. A wonderful Nanny J to Jessica, Ben and Charlie. A special friend to so many. Reunited with her first love and husband David Palmer.

Judith’s Funeral Service will be a celebration of her life and will take place at St Catherine's Church, Burbage on Monday 29th December 2025 at 11:30am. Followed by a private family committal. As per Judith’s wishes, please wear bright colours.

Family Flowers only please.

Mum and I were so sorry to hear about Judy. We have such happy memories of her from school days when I spent lots of time with Kirstie and then later singing in Pam Tansey’s concerts at Burbage Church. Judy was such a warm lovely person.
