What a lovely send off for John today surrounded by family and a few friends that were allowed and in the thoughts of many that were not able to be there in person, a very sympathetic service and the Sun shone.specially for him, Forever in our thoughts , sort them out up there Johnxxx

John you were just so special to my mum & Dad -Uncle George & Aunty Mary - . I used to smile when I asked Dad what he’d been ‘up to ‘ today & he’d say ‘ I’ve been up to the farm and had I bit of pie with John & Doreen ‘. You always made them welcome as you did everyone else . David & I loved nothing more than strolling around your fields looking at your beautiful cattle . They stood full square ,looked magnificent and had such a contented manner . You were and will always be loved and respected by your family and friends . Your honesty ,loyalty and strength was an inspiration to us all . You have left an empty space in our lives but the love we have for you will be in our hearts forever .

So proud of you my darling and all you achieved as a farmer feeding the country. I was also so proud to be part of your life and the love we shared I will miss and love you forever. Night night god bless sleep peaceful until we meet again xxxxx

What can I say Dad. My heart is broken in pieces. My Dad, my hero, my world. I am the strong, stubborn woman I am today because of your never say never ways. You taught me so much. I would give anything to have you back miss and love you always. Sam xxx
