John Fortune

of Birkenshaw, passed away suddenly in Leicestershire on 22^nd March 2021 aged 91 years. Beloved husband to Eileen. Loving dad to Andrew, Richard and the late Stephen and father in law to Kay and Lesley.

Much loved grandad to Hayley, Emily, Hannah, Franchesca, Melanie and Danielle and great grandad to Jordan, John-Jo, Georgia, Abigail, Maverick, Alderney, Jack and Jaiden. Family flowers only please. Donations may be sent payable to ‘D.L.R.A.A’ (Leicestershire Air Ambulance). A funeral service will take place. To Aunty Eileen, Andrew and Richard and families. I am so sorry for your loss. Uncle John was such a gentle and kind man - I have very fond memories of him. I recall as children he gave us a ride on top of the trailer tent as he towed it slowly along - we thought it was great. He was a good man. Thinking of you all. Love Linda x
