John! My heart is broken, you never had a chance to see my girls. I never had a chance to see you and your family. You taught me to drive, I think of you often, you were an amazing friend and work colleague. I trust your spirt lives on! You were impactful. Love and light!

John we meet at work, you had such a positive outlook on life, you always looked after you patients to the highest standards, they still ask after you years after you left. I could alway count on you at work for support when I needed it no matter how busy you where. Your smile always brighten them riff days at work. I feel so honoured to have support you at the end. I am so proud in your strength of faith which never faulted, and with the strength you fought with never giving up. RIP John till we meet again 🙏

I always remember meeting John as a student nurse on ward 12 when I was hca and being asked to look after him. That day I made a firm friend! It was also obvious what a natural John was with the patients. Whenever I think of him its with his big beaming smile, gentle ways and quick 1 liners that always brought on the belly laughs. There's going to be a huge hole where John was but knowing him he'll still be looking after everyone, particularly his girls and dillon. Sending lots of love abs hugs to the whole family. Rest easy John xx

Sleep well lovely man and light up the stars xxx
I’ll always remember when Jen first introduced us at her home in Burton on Trent. Forever smiling and cheerful. I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who had as much of a cheerful, positive spirit as you. Always had girls hanging off your arms because of your infectious positive spirit! I always had great respect and admiration for you journeying all the way from Zimbabwe and carving out an extraordinary life for yourself. The last time I saw you was when I visited you in your home in Derby. A long time ago and it will be my eternal regret that I never made the time to meet up with you again, despite keeping in touch with you over social media. Sleep easy my friend

Always a smile on your face, always so laid back.
You came to England with nothing but came so far in your life.
Nothing was too much for you, nothing stopped you from what you wanted to achieve.
You surely was a strong, hard working individual.
You fought your disease fiercely and kept positive throughout.
Will miss you terribly my beautiful friend - always keep you in my thoughts and heart.
Love always…..
