Messages Of Condolence

Well Mrs ! You had to go & break records in your sleep, the biggest crowd that Countesthorpe had ever seen, the garden centre thought it was the funeral of a celebrity, so many people, they had to close the car park , well it was Glen Parva’s very own celebrity & they gave you the most fantastic send off.
Don’t worry about John, Chris and Michelle, they will be very well taken care of , we will all make sure of that.
My last message to Jo , & I know she will get it , cos she is looking down & listening , mark my words xx

My family and I give our deepest sympathies to John, Chris and Michelle on their loss. Jo was a lovely person with a gentle soul and would always give a helping hand where needed. I always enjoyed attending school governor meetings with her as she made everyone smile with her funny comments. I’m so sorry I cannot attend her funeral tomorrow to pay my respects but she and her loved ones will be in our thoughts x

Joanne you were a lovely, warm, caring and inspirational woman. It is a great sadness that you have now left us but we can take some comfort in the loving memories that you have left behind. Your family is one of your legacies and in life you were rightly proud of all their wonderful achievements and the many happy times you shared together. It was a delight to have got to know you better over many chatty emails in recent years. We are so sad to have lost you but hope that you are at rest now. With much love, Sue, Derek, India and Nat xxxx

What can we say about Jo? She embodied the phrase, pillar of the local community. She selflessly gave so much to Glen Parva that went well beyond any job description she had. She was always a smiling, positive, calming presence. Even when it poured it down for her meticulously planned gala she had a smile on her face, donned her high vis jacket and got on with it.
Her bubbly personality, smiley face, wisdom, vast knowledge and can-do attitude will be missed by us all. Glen Parva won't be the same without you.
