James Jeacock Payne (Jim)

20th Oct 1929 — 7th Mar 2022

Passed away peacefully on Monday 7^th March 2022 aged 92 years.

Reunited with his late Wife Maureen and Son Neil. Much loved Dad of

Aileen, beloved Grandad of Hannah, James, Elizabeth and Philippa, Great Grandad of Logan.

Jim’s funeral service will take place at St Michaels Parish Church, Stoney Stanton on Thursday 24^th March 2022 at 3pm followed by a committal at Countesthorpe Crematorium.

Family flowers only please.Any donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the “Donations Fund” which will be directed, in memory of Jim to Loros c/o G.Seller ‘Independent Funeral Directors’, 75 Upper Bond Street, Hinckley, LE10 1RH. Tel: 01455 637457.

A champion of Stanton has passed on, but his legacy to the church and community lives on.
