Gordon Young

of Market Bosworth passed away peacefully in Bosworth Court Care Home on 28th January 2022 aged 93 years.

Beloved husband to the late Iris.
A loving dad to Sally and Wendy.
Dear father in law of Scott and much loved Grandad and Gdad to Sarah, Rhys, Hannah, Caitlin, Jacob, Rebecca and Ben.

Funeral service to take place at St Peter's Parish Church, Market Bosworth on Friday 25th February at 12:45pm followed by private cremation.

Family flowers only please.

Heartfelt condolences to you all. Gordon had such a positive and fun approach to life. He will leave a huge hole which I hope you can fill with memories of the love and times you shared together. Sending love xx

Gordon and Iris were wonderful welcoming people who always had smiles and encouragements to me as a young child visitor to Field Farm Sapcote.
I have everlasting memories of fun in the outdoors and thanks for teaching me to ride a bike which I still do occasionally.
My condolences to the family especially Sally and Wendy, a wonderful shared history which has lasted a lifetime.
