Frances Elizabeth Jackson "Betty"

9th Oct 1933 — 28th Apr 2022

JACKSON – Frances Elizabeth “Betty”, of Barton in the Beans passed away in the George Eliot Hospital on the 28th April 2022 aged 88 years.

Devoted wife to the late Stanley. A loving mother to David, Roger and

Helen and a very dear Grandma to George, Harry, Harriat, Laurel and

Briony

A private cremation will take place prior to a service to celebrate Betty’s life at All Saints Parish Church, Nailstone on Friday 27th May at 11:15am and mourning wear is not required.

Family flowers only please. Donations may be sent in memory of Betty

payable to ‘D.L.R.A.A’ Air Ambulance c/o G.Seller or online using the "Donate" button to the right

So sad to learn of Betty's death. Growing up, she was more than a mother to me and one of the most positive influences on my life. She even let me ride Flicka, her skewbald horse. I came to Barton some weeks ago meaning to visit her, but learnt she had just died. Condolences to all the family at the loss of such a positive and wonderful woman.

So very sorry to hear that Betty has passed away, she was a lovely lady that I had known for over 20 years, we shared a love of cakes! I shall miss her.
