To my husband in heaven. I was supposed to spend the rest of my life with you and then I realised you spent the rest of your life with me. I smile because I know you loved me till the day you went away and will keep on loving me till the day we are together again, for eternity.

My love forever, Pol

Doug,

We will all miss you so much.

I will always be grateful for all of my memories of the family holidays and you were a major part of all them.

I will miss you at all of the family parties and having someone to sing Paradise By The Dashboard Lights with on the karaoke. You were always my favourite person to sing that song with and the funny looks we would give each other at the awkward parts will always make me laugh.

Whenever I hear that song now I will think of you and smile and in the words of the song "I will love you to the end of time"

Xxx

I know your love was special,
It guided me along my way.
Your caring hand helped me laugh,
And wiped away my tears.
I know that you were chosen because of who you were.
To listen, lead and guide me,
On journeys near and far.
I really was so lucky,
And I thank the stars above.
For when it comes to godfathers,
I had the best to love.
Doug, you meant the world to me.
