Desmond 'Des' Hill

31st Dec 1937 — 31st Mar 2026

Donations in memory of Desmond 'Des' Hill to Support Dogs for Autism, for Epilepsy, for Disability can be made by pressing the button opposite.

Make Donation

of Newbold Verdon, retired Electrical Engineer and Retailer of JR Hill & Son, passed bravely although peacefully away on Tuesday 31st March 2026, aged 88 years. He is lovingly missed by all the family.

The funeral will take place at the Barsby Service Chapel, G. Seller, Hinckley on Wednesday 20th May at 11:45am. Family and friends may arrive from 11:00am. There will be a private burial at Newbold Verdon Cemetery following the service.

Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Des may be made online by clicking the “Make Donation” button on this page.
