Grandad; my heart is broken but when I think of all the wonderful times we spent together, I can’t help but smile. So many happy memories. Some of the best times of my childhood were spent going fishing with you. There usually weren't a lot of fish but there were always plenty of laughs.
Every time we saw each other, you made me laugh, you were genuinely one of the funniest and wittiest people I’ve ever known and I loved going round to your house, learning about the past and putting the world to rights with you.
Thank you for being an inspiration and a rock of support all throughout my life, but most of all, thanks for being my mate xxx

Dad, our hearts are broken. We love and respect you so much as a Dad, Grandad and Great-Grandad. You were always there to give us support and guidance. You will be so sorely missed, especially your sense of humour. You were so very proud of our achievements in life. We were very proud of you and your determination to make a better life for yourself, Mum and your four daughters.
Rest in peace, Dad. You will never be forgotten.XX
Marion, Tim, Mark, Layla, Rory, Emily, Chris and Louie.
Dennis, you were a true true gentleman. You were always dressed your best, kind, caring and had the wittiest sense of humour. Kai and Demi loved their Pops and you will be missed very much. We will carry many fond memories with us. Xxx

Grandad, you created a special family, full of kindness and love. You were our rock, the one we would all turn to for help, guidance and advice. You were the heartbeat of our family and we now carry your heartbeat on in all of us. Thank you Grandad, for being an incredible source of love, guidance and inspiration in my life and many others. I love you and I miss you xx

I first met Dennis, or Mr Keel as I called him, when Marion and I were students and he’s been a presence in my life since then. On my frequent visits to stay with Marion he always called round to say hello with a cheery smile and a cheeky joke. He was lovely to Jack, rocking him on his hip when he was a baby and always giving him a £1 coin when we visited. He welcomed me into the family and to many family occasions over the years. That was the essence of Dennis - a family man through and through. He will be missed, but always remembered.
