Of Burbage. Passed away on 14th September 2025, aged 44 years.

A much loved son, brother and nephew.

Funeral service to take place at St. Mary's Parish Church, Hinckley on Friday 10th October 2025 at 12:30pm

No flowers by family request.

I first met David when he was a teenager. My then wife was at University with David's parents Sue and Tim and we met through the university annual get-togethers that use to take place usually at their home in Hinckley.

When my marriage failed, I'm pleased to say that Sue and Tim remained friends and I learnt of David's progress through life from the Sue's letters and the cards we exchanged at Christmas.

The years passed so rapidly as they seem to do as one gets older. Life, work and my health problems meant we had only met infrequently since those early days so I was shocked and deeply saddened when I received the news of David's passing as a result of an accident.

My thoughts and prayers continue to be held in my heart for Sue, Tim, Joshua and all of David's family.

May David rest in peace and rise in glory.
