David Holmes

6th Apr 1940 — 21st Dec 2025

Passed away suddenly on 21st December 2025, aged 85 years.

Uncle to Mark and Nicola, brother in law to Jane and brother to the late Neil. Son of Dorothy and Charles Holmes.

Deeply sorry to hear that David has passed away. He was our next door neighbour when he lived with Mrs. Holmes, his mother in St Catherine's Avenue for many years. He will always be remembered for the photographs he took - especially of the fox on the roof ! This photograph has featured in Aspect magazine on several occasions and no doubt will again. A keen walker he was often seen out and about enjoying the countryside. May he rest in peace.
