Barbara Ruth Payne

Of Botcheston, formerly of Nailstone

Passed away peacefully on 6th December 2025 aged 89 years

Beloved Wife of the late Peter, much loved Mum to Hilary and Alison, Mother in law to Stephen and Stephen, Nana to Amanda, Stephanie, George, Angus and Edward and Great Nana to Arya, Esme, Erin, Frank, Reuben and Ezra.

A Service of Thanksgiving to Celebrate Barbara's life will take place at All Saint's Parish Church, Nailstone on Tuesday 30th December at 11.30am.

Family flowers only please.

Aunty Barbara was quite an amazing woman, her drive, determination, energy, cheeriness and care was truly wonderful and consistent. We loved her visits to us in Devon with Uncle Peter, always great stories to be told. We had a lot in common and loved chatting on the phone about all sorts of things she was always positive and funny. Love you x
