Dear Arnie
I was lucky to know you through your amazing daughter Josephine, back in the '80s. Initially I was terrified because I couldn't understand your Yorkshire accent and humour! But over the years I came to see what a great father you were to Josie and Simon; you certainly passed on your dapper elegance to them. And I saw your immensely tender side during the illness of their mother Audrey. Not forgetting the joyful sing-songs round the bar in Burton Hastings. Some of your wonderful down-to-earth Yorkshire sayings will remain with me always, such as "if you're wondering how to do a thing, get it done and wonder how you did it afterwards ".

Sympathy to Josie & Simon and families, I hope the wonderful memories you have of Uncle Arnie will help in the sad days ahead. He led a full & happy life. With lots of love Caroline xxx

Sincere condolences to Simon, Josie and extended family and friends on the passing of Arnold. He was an absolute gentleman and it was a privilege to have known him and worked with him all those years ago. May Arnie RIP.

You have been a wonderful friend to me and family and I have enjoyed many years of a treasured friendship from which I have wonderful memories of fun,kindness, laughter, parties not forgetting the wine!!! .
