Messages Of Condolence

Dear Ken and family

We were so so sorry to hear about Ann and it must be an enormous shock for all of you. Over all the years we have known you both, from the first meeting in the Black Cock when we were amazed to find the Leicester connections to those hard fought quiz nights at the Posting House, Ann always had a smile and plenty of chat.

I think Val has already replied but just to say, the three of us will be attending Ann’s funeral and afterwards at The Mill on the Soar.

Our thoughts are with all of you at this sad time……

Take care

Tim & Liz xx

In loving memory of Auntie Ann. I was so incredibly sad at hear the news of your passing. Some of my fondest memories as a child are from our regular trips up to stay with you and Uncle Ken in Greysouthen, where I always felt so at home. From rock cakes to visiting you in the Cafe in Keswick, and walks round Buttermere. Cumbria will always be my very favourite place because of you and Unc.

All my love to Ken, Jen, Lizzie and their families.

Fond memories of Ann, a dear wife of Ken and mother of two special girls. Your engaging smile, friendliness and neighbourliness helped many along life's pathway. A generation ago, you left our village to explore a new future in the North Country. You and your family were sadly missed then as you are missed today. Heartfelt condolences to Ken, Jennifer and Liz and families. Ian
