Sally Louise Nightingale of Bosworth Mill

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday 21st July 2026.

Wife of Jeremy, mother to Rosie, James and Peter, grandmother to Elodie. Her beauty, presence and humour will be sadly missed. She had been a soloist ballerina (including in the Paris Opera House), a nurse in nutritional support (St Mark’s and John Radcliffe Hospitals) and latterly worked for 14 years in the Houses of Parliament. She will also be remembered for her love of Russian ballet and literature.

Sally’s Funeral Service will take place at St Peters Church, Market Bosworth on Wednesday 26th August 2026 at 11:30am. Followed by a committal in Carlton Cemetery and snacks/drinks at Bosworth Mill.

Formal mourning wear is not necessary, please feel free to be smart while wearing some colour. No flowers, but please donate to the Nightingale Trust for Nutritional Support (using the link above).
