Messages Of Condolence

In memory of Di, a lovely lady and dear friend.
We had many happy times spent together - meals, quizzes, holidays in Sciathos and Malta as well as celebrating each others birthdays in lovely restaurants.
She has left a huge hole in our lives and we miss her.

I am so sorry to hear of Dianne’s illness and passing . As my guide leader I am so grateful to have spent time with her and her endless energy , she was so much fun ! I am sorry we did not have a chance to catch up , but feel so lucky to have had her as part of my life journey xxx
I am so sorry for your loss. What a phenomenal lady!! She was a huge part of my life (through Guiding) in the 1980s. We all had such fun together -officially led by Diane, but she was very much part of the group -and not "the leader!" We have all kept in touch and remain friends despite some now living on the opposite side of the world. Us "girls" regularly reminisce about the shenanigans we got up to, and recognise our friendship is no doubt due to the foundations Di laid.
What a truly lovely service it was. Much love to Peter and all of Diane's family and friends.

Di, I had the privilege of calling you my friend. We didn’t always see eye to eye at first, but that turned into something really special… a friendship full of honesty, laughter, and many chats over a glass of Sauvignon, putting the world to rights.

You came into my life when I needed it most, and I’ll always be so grateful for that. I’m going to miss you more than I can put into words… our chats, your honesty, and lot’s of giggles! Rest in eternal peace and comfort xx

We shared so many laughs together, that is something special.
We also had some brilliant ideas over the years to put the world and the Security Institute to rights, that is something special.
We from time to time had really bad ideas, but you know what, that is also something special.

Rest in peace and in the knowledge that you leave behind something special.

So sad having to say goodbye to you Di . We had a special childhood bond especially as you were my first friend when I moved to Barry in 1963. If you meet up with my dog Candy on the other side I hope she’s forgiven us. Rest easy! Love Paula 😘x

So sad to hear Diane has passed away, but I have very happy memories of time in Romilly Primary with her, not least the standard 4 production of 'A cosy Christmas', and birthday parties with her Mum's chocolate and lemon curd birthday cakes. Thinking of you all.
