There is currently an opportunity to join the G. Seller & Co. team as we are seeking a Casual Funeral Operative. We are an independent, family owned Funeral Directors and Memorial Masons, that has been established for over 100 years and are dedicated to providing the highest levels of bereavement care. Casual Funeral Operatives are an integral part of the day to day running of our company, working alongside the full and part time team. The hours of work are as and when required. Uniform and on the job training will be provided. A full, clean Driving Licence is essential. The job role includes:

Providing a dignified and respectful service to every client and deceased
Attendance at a funeral, including driving vehicles, shouldering a coffin
Preparation and cleaning of vehicles for funerals
Delivery, checking and collection of various forms of paperwork
Assisting the Funeral Directors in all funeral duties required to fulfil the client’s instructions
Sharing best practice with peers to enhance communication, performance and teamwork
