We have been serving families in Hinckley and the surrounding areas for over a 100 years. Today, we continue our tradition of a compassionate, attentive and professional funeral service.

We really care about the communities we are privileged to serve, and to celebrate our involvement in Hinckley, Newbold Verdon, Glen Parva and the surrounding areas we are launching a campaign to celebrate the heritage of these areas. Nowadays, families, businesses and the general community evolve at such a pace and with changes in technology happening so quickly, we want to capture the essence of the communities in which we live and work and are delighted to be launching our heritage campaign.

As Joseph Barsby, Director at G. Seller & Co. explains: “This campaign seeks to serve as an archive of pictures connected to the areas in which we live, work and socialise and we are asking families and businesses in the Leicestershire area, particularly Hinckley, Glen Parva and Newbold Verdon to send us images that resonate with them – be it a historic family image, the business in bygone days or a more recent family snapshot on a day out in the area that captures the essence of the special nature of our communities.”

All of the images supplied will be added to a facebook album via the G. Seller and Co. Page and in due course a selection of favourites will be shared more widely as capturing the essence of the heritage of these areas, and the real essence of our communities.

As Joseph concludes, “We are delighted to be launching this campaign as it gives us an opportunity to find out more about these areas, past and present, and to collate an archive of images that may otherwise be lost. We are looking forward to seeing the collection of images from the past and present, and really excited about celebrating our vibrant and exciting community too.”

To take part in the campaign share your photos with us on facebook or send then by email to joseph@gseller.co.uk with a title and short description of the photo. Keep up to date with all the latest images in our facebook album here.
