We have been serving our local community as a family firm for over 100 hundred years. We are working to help our local charity, The Dorothy Goodman School,  a school for special children from the ages of 3 to 14. As such, we are delighted to be a hosting a quintessentially British ‘Bake Off’ in Newbold Verdon on 10th September and would love individuals from the local community, and local businesses, to enter a cake in an attempt to be our ‘Bake Off Champion for 2016.’ The competition is free to enter but applications are needed by 22nd August.

Entry forms can be obtained from the G. Seller & Co. Ltd branches in Newbold Verdon or Hinckley, from local shops in Newbold Verdon or by email request to office@gseller.co.uk.

Entries are free and once accepted, all you need to do is bake a cake and turn up at Newbold Verdon Methodist Church Hall on 10th September before 10.30am. The event is taking place from 11.00 am and there will be plenty of opportunity to try some cake with a cup of tea or coffee, enter the raffle and help to raise funds for a great cause.

G. Seller and Co. staff are also striving to run 2016 miles in 2016 so if you would like to make a donation to support their efforts, please do so here.

As Amy Barsby explains, “The school make such a difference to the lives they touch and we are delighted to be hosting this event to help raise funds whilst having some fun, and a piece of cake at the same time. We are looking forward to seeing some great cakes too!”

For more information please visit www.gseller.co.uk and remember to post pictures of your cakes on twitter using the hashtag #NVBakeOff to @gsellerco too.
