G. Seller & Co. Ltd are going the extra mile for their charity of choice this year as they embark on a number of fundraising activities, one of which is the completion of 2016 miles in 2016! Joseph Barsby, the 3rd generation of the Barsby family to run the business, along with colleagues Joe and Matt are donning their running shoes to exceed the £2,500 funds raised last year for The Dorothy Goodman School.

Dorothy Goodman School caters for pupils aged between 3 and 19 years with a wide range of learning disabilities, Autism to Cerebral Palsy, Down’s syndrome to ADHD and everything in-between. The school has five sites in Hinckley, Leicestershire and as G. Seller & Co. Ltd are Hinckley based and extremely proud of their roots in Leicestershire, they are delighted to continue their support of the Dorothy Goodman School and help the local community.

As Joseph explains, “We are doing this challenge and a variety of other fundraising events throughout the year because the school does such a good job in the local community and we feel it is such an honour to help in any way we can. We raised £2,500 in 2015 and aim to exceed that in 2016 with a target of £10,000! Events planned throughout the year, apart from the numerous runs that Joseph, Joe and Matt will be completing, they have already ran 165 miles so far this year, include coffee mornings, bike rides and a raft race.
