Messages Of Condolence

We got to know Judy when we lived next door to her and Brian for some 12 years. They both became close friends and we were lucky to share many happy times together both when we lived in Burbage and since. Judy was always a source of kindness, fun and laughter and in additional to visiting each others' homes and meeting for meals, we were thrilled when she and Brian joined us on a trip to the South of France after our civil partnership. Her warmth, sense of fun and openness always made her such a pleasure to be with. Earlier this year we were very lucky to have had a really fun - and slightly boozy - brunch with her and Brian not long before the first lockdown. Those precious few hours together were, as always, filled with laughter and the kind of familiarity and closeness you only feel with the best of friends. Judy brought joy into our lives, like so many others, and will always be remembered with happiness and a broad smile. We are grateful to have known her.
